These terms apply when you book or use counselling or psychology mentoring services from Disha Jain ("I", "me") through jaindisha.in. By booking a session, you agree to them.

This is not a crisis or emergency service. If you or someone else is in danger or thinking about self-harm, please contact emergency services on 112 or the Tele-MANAS mental health helpline on 14416 (toll-free, in India). Counselling sessions here are not a substitute for emergency or psychiatric care.

About me and my scope

I am a PsyD trainee and practising counsellor, currently training at NIEPVD, Dehradun, with 7+ years in the field. I am not a licensed psychologist and I do not diagnose or prescribe. I work within my scope of practice and will gently refer you on if another professional would serve you better.

The services

• Counselling sessions, held one to one and online over video on Google Meet.
• Psychology mentoring for students and early-career psychologists, including guidance and mock interviews.

Session lengths, formats, and prices are shown on the site at the time you book.

Booking and payment

Sessions are booked and paid for in advance through this site. Once payment is confirmed, your slot is held and you receive a confirmation by email. You are responsible for giving accurate contact details and for joining from a private, quiet space with a stable connection.

Confidentiality and your data

What you share with me stays confidential, within the standard ethical and legal limits I will explain at the start of our work. How I handle your personal data is set out in the Privacy Policy.

Eligibility

Counselling is open to adults, and to minors with a parent or guardian's involvement. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must give consent and be present for your sessions.

What counselling can and cannot do

Counselling is a collaborative process. I bring care, training and honest effort, but I cannot guarantee a particular outcome. Nothing on this site is medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.

Changes

I may update these terms from time to time. The latest version always lives on this page.
