Privacy Policy

This policy is written to align with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

This policy explains what personal data I collect when you use jaindisha.in or book a session, and how I use and protect it. I am the data fiduciary: Disha Jain, Dehradun, India.

What I collect

• Booking details: your name, email, phone number, and anything you choose to share in the intake form.
• Session information: brief notes I keep to support our work together.
• Payment information: handled by my payment provider. I receive a confirmation and reference, not your full card or bank details.
• Basic technical data: standard logs and, if enabled, privacy-friendly analytics.

How I use it

• To schedule, hold and deliver your sessions.
• To communicate with you about your bookings.
• To take payment and issue confirmations.
• To meet legal and ethical record-keeping obligations.

I do not sell your data, and I do not use it for advertising.

Who processes your data

A few trusted services help run the practice. Each handles only what it needs:

• Razorpay for payments.
• Cal.com for scheduling.
• Google Firebase for secure booking storage.
• Netlify for hosting the website.

Confidentiality

What you share in sessions is treated as confidential, within the ethical and legal limits I explain at the start of our work (for example, where there is a serious risk of harm).

Storage, retention and security

Your data is stored securely with access limited to me. I keep records for 10 years to meet ethical and legal record-keeping obligations, then securely delete them.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by emailing me. I will respond within a reasonable time.

Children

Minors are welcome with a parent or guardian's involvement. For anyone under 18, a parent or guardian gives consent and is present for sessions, and may exercise the data rights above on the minor's behalf.
